Stefany D. Wolfsohn, MD
Dr. Stefany Wolfsohn is a board-certified anesthesiologist and integrative mental health provider, as well as the founder of the Ventura Center for Advanced Therapeutics in Camarillo, California. A lifelong Ventura County resident, she combines medical expertise with a trauma-informed, whole-person approach to support patients navigating treatment-resistant mental health conditions, PTSD, chronic pain syndromes, palliative care concerns, and existential distress.
Since opening the center in 2017, Dr. Wolfsohn has provided all direct patient care, offering a hands-on, personalized experience that prioritizes safety, compassion, and collaboration. She has administered ketamine in both hospital and outpatient settings since 2007. She has worked extensively with interventional pain specialists, providing anesthesia services for individuals with complex, treatment-resistant pain and mood disorders. Her protocols emphasize non-opioid solutions and evidence-informed alternatives that empower healing.
Dr. Wolfsohn is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and a faculty member of the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, and Practitioners. She has safely administered ketamine to thousands of patients and remains at the forefront of evolving best practices in ketamine-assisted therapy.
In addition to her medical credentials, Dr. Wolfsohn holds a Master’s in Clinical Counseling (2025), deepening her ability to integrate psychological, somatic, and spiritual modalities into care. She is especially passionate about bridging disciplines of medicine, psychotherapy, expressive arts, and contemplative practices to create healing environments that honor the whole human experience. She moderates a local peer consultation group and engages in ongoing education and research in psychedelic medicine. Her practice encourages close collaboration with licensed mental health professionals to ensure thoughtful preparation and integration around the time of ketamine treatment.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Wolfsohn offers a grounded, heart-centered presence and a steadfast belief in each patient’s capacity to heal, transform, and thrive.

Dr. Wolfsohn was featured in the Thousand Oaks Acorn in July 2019 in the Health Section: Former ‘club drug’ now being used to treat pain, depression: Local doctor among those who believe in ketamine’s healing powers.
