Stefany Wolfsohn, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist, integrative mental health provider, and the founder of Ventura Center for Advanced Therapeutics in Camarillo, California. With over two decades of experience in medical care and nearly a decade of dedicated practice in ketamine therapy, Dr. Wolfsohn brings a rare combination of clinical precision, trauma-informed care, and relational insight to her work. She will complete her Master’s in Clinical Counseling in August 2025, further deepening her commitment to whole-person healing through interdisciplinary and compassionate approaches.
Since founding the clinic in 2017, Dr. Wolfsohn has provided all direct clinical care herself, ensuring continuity, safety, and deep attunement throughout each patient’s healing journey. Her work is grounded in advanced training in trauma, psychedelic-assisted therapies, and somatic and expressive modalities, and she remains actively engaged in research, professional development, and community leadership. She facilitates a monthly local peer consultation group and collaborates with several leaders across disciplines in ketamine and psychedelic medicine.
At Ventura Center for Advanced Therapeutics, treatment is highly individualized and holistic, integrating ketamine therapy with supportive practices such as mindfulness, expressive arts, nature-based strategies, and spiritual inquiry—tailored to each patient’s needs. Psychological preparation and integration are essential elements of care, and patients are encouraged to work with licensed mental health providers or coaches with specialized training in psychedelic-assisted therapy. When clinically appropriate, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is offered with a co-therapist present to support deeper emotional processing and lasting change.

Dr. Stefany Wolfsohn is a board-certified Anesthesiologist and a lifelong resident of Ventura County. In September 2017, Dr. Wolfsohn founded the Ventura Center for Advanced Therapeutics where she has been able to offer her extensive experience, a compassionate bedside manner and an integrative approach to help patients who suffer from treatment-resistant mental health disorders, PTSD and chronic pain syndromes.
She is committed to providing the highest quality of care to her patients and has been a trusted resource for anesthesia services by local doctors and surgeons in the area since 2007.
