How is this different from taking vitamins and drinking water?
IV fluid is absorbed directly into the bloodstream with 100% efficiency. The digestive system is bypassed and higher dosages of nutrients can be delivered than would be possible to consume, and the effects are felt almost immediately. A sterile saline solution delivered directly into your bloodstream to help rehydrate your body with 100% absorption.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
If IV hydration, vitamin and/or other supplementation is being recommended to treat a chronic medical condition, then yes, your doctor needs to complete the referral form and send medical information with the referral. The new patient referral form can be found on our website at the top of the page under “For Patients.”
